   1 This directory and its content is used to generate the
   2 EXTRA_VERSION_PATCHES constant used in "include/version.i".

   4 A third party can create a file inside this directory and its name will be
   5 propagated in all "version" output of the following lttng-executable:
   6     lttng-relayd
   7     lttng-sessiond
   8     lttng
